The Child Goddess won the 2005 Endeavour Award

Sunday, March 2nd, I did an interview with Jillian Maas Backman for the Chicago radio station Lake961  The podcast will soon be available on Jillian's fascinating website.

The new issue of Talebones Magazine  has the interview I did with Ken Rand.  I particularly like this one.  I like Ken, for one thing (who wrote The 10% Solution, a must-have self- editing book for every writer) and the interview is very personal.

On November 9, 2001, this picture was taken at Orycon 23 in Portland, Oregon.  Louise was thrilled when The Glass Harmonica shared the  2001 Endeavour Award with The Telling, by Ursula K. LeGuin.

The Terrorists of Irustan was named one of the best novels of 1999 by Voya Magazine

It was also on the short list for the James Tiptree, Jr. Award, the preliminary Nebula ballot, and the short list for the 2000 Endeavour Award.

Singer in the Snow has been nominated by the ALA for its Best Books for Young Adults list.  The books on the list will be discussed at the ALA Conference in New Orleans in June, 2006.
